Hammer and Nails Woodworking Project
The project is a woodworking experience for adults with learning disabilities. Members learn about making things from wood and recycle furniture and wood products to sell.
The project is based in the barn complex in the centre of the park where there is a fully equipped workshop together with toilets and café. It takes place two days a week on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9.00 – 2.00pm. Members pay a small fee towards running costs.
The project is run in partnership with Manchester Learning Disability Partnership by Phil Parkin -
Anyone can drop in – it’s a great day out!
